Interview with DS Grafiks – Izoa blog


As you could see with the new design table design last week, we had the pleasure of collaborating with a new graphic designer, named: DS Grafifs. We therefore wanted to make you discover it through an interview.
“Hello DS Grafiks, first of all we want to thank you from the time you give us. Then, know that we are delighted to do this partnership with you! Since we have never worked together, we would like in Know more about your graphic designer talents.

To start, we will talk about your beginnings as a creative. – Since when are you a graphic designer? I have been a freelance illustrator graphic designer for 5 years now. – What made you want to do this job? I have always had artistic fiber, I like art and computer professions, I was able to reconcile the two with this profession. – How did you get there? What course did you go by? I am passionate about art. I started with the illustration and then discovered the pao. By coming to settle in Paris, this is where I really learned my job as a designer graphic designer. Graduated from Creapole ESDI in visual communication, then I followed additional training in goblins. – What advice would you give to someone who also wants to embark on graphics? You have to be curious because everything can be a source of inspiration. This is a job that allows you to work on very different subjects, which is important for someone loving diversity. In summary patience, creativity, curiosity and adaptability. You have a very special style, like each artist, could you tell us a little more …-What interests you most in graphics? Graphics is a discipline which consists in creating, choosing and using graphic elements (drawings, typographic characters, photos, colors …) to develop an object of communication and culture. Everything is gathered to never get bored. – Your achievements often seem to be focused on music (soul, RNB)… These atmospheres stick to your personality? Obviously, music is one of my main inspirations, I grew up under the influence of blues and jazz. I myself evolved in the world of dance and music. Clearly I can’t do without it. – And what other universes do you like to represent? I love Japanese culture, manga inspirations go very well with street art. I like nature too, I have a side save the planet! So if I can get some messages in illustration, that’s it already. • – Where do you find your source of inspiration? In music (Hip Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz), in painting (Kandinsky, the Impressionist movement, graffiti), in fashion (creators, trends), the other artists (Murakami, Miyazaki ..) and Internet
– Can you cite a realization of your book which you are particularly proud of (link)? Being a perfectionist and remains quite critical of my work, nevertheless I think of my first creation everything, it started from this creation in the tribute of this artist. -Does graphics still have secrets for you? Of course yes, since it is renewed endlessly. We always want to do better and try new things. Finally, we embarked on this partnership which promises to be an enriching experience.

– What do you think of the creations of Izoa? / Why did you decided to / what made you want to join this partnership? I have known the Izoa site since its launch in 2007, I immediately hung with the concept of highlighting artists from different universes and the sale of digital table. I am very happy to have been able to carry out this project with you. – Could you give a little clue to our amateurs concerning your future work? I work on 3D typographies that I want to join my works more to get stronger messages. – After this partnership, do you have any projects for the future? Special desires? I have an opening on the United States, or I would like to settle down. And why not develop my brand and my textile creations projects. To follow!
